With packed schedules and busy plans, people are finding easy ways to stay healthy. Protein shakes, energy boosters, detox drinks, and many more are becoming famous around the world.

Arbonne is one of the popular multi-level marketing company (MLM), which manufactures almost all kinds of nutritional supplements. It has a diet program called 30 Days to Healthy Living. Many reviews have shown it to be an effective diet program, but it also received a lot of criticism for its unethical practices.

Arbonne claims its products focus on a holistic approach to wellbeing, with a focus on one’s mind, body, and skin.

Keep reading the article to know more about Arbonne supplement products and their diet program.

The Healthline has given 2.5 out of 5 for the 30 Days to Healthy Living diet program.

Arbonne diet review

30 Days to Healthy Living is about resetting as claimed by the Arbonne. It is said to help in resetting the energy levels and overall functioning of the body. It is also said to assist in bringing back the body to normal functioning.

Here are the steps suggested in Arbonne’s diet program:

Step 1: Restriction of certain foods.

The first step is to avoid foods like Artificial sweeteners, alcohol, coffee, dairy, etc. There is no scientific reason given behind avoiding these foods. Some studies suggest that having coffee, dairy in suggested amounts can help in overall health.

Step 2: It is a general guideline on how and what to eat.

The guidelines include eating every four hours, having a well-balanced plate (having good amounts of vegetables, lean protein, nutrient-rich-carbs, etc.), and drinking plenty of water. Through this step, they also suggest replacing one or two meals with Arbonne shakes.

Arbonne’s shake recipe includes water or any non-dairy milk, two scoops of Arbonne’s protein mix, a few greens and fruits, and healthy fat like nut butter or avocado.

Step 3: Get Moving

Arbonne’s diet recommends getting physical exercise daily for healthy body weight, heart health, and confidence. It doesn’t give a proper plan on what exercises to do but gives general statements, like moving more than yesterday, taking up a new activity (tennis, running), joining a group (gym, local recreational group). Arbonne also suggests having pre and post-workout drinks from their collection, TrueSport.

Step 4: Being mindful

Again, Arbonne gives a general idea about how to be more mindful but doesn’t provide a detailed guide about the same. It recommends activities like spending more time in nature, meditating, seeking help from family and friends, if needed. It also suggests taking its InnerCalm Adaptogenic De-Stress Powder.

Step 5: Emphasis on quality sleep

Arbonne strongly suggests using essential oils like lavender or something of one’s favorite to calm the soul and body before bed. It also recommends keeping all the electronic devices away and make a bedtime ritual (applying a soft lotion, reading a good book, etc.)

Step 6: Tracking the goals.

Arbonne seems to be working to achieve the goals. It recommends to track the personal goals and measure the success rate. It believes that keeping track of one’s goals and success motivates one to work towards the betterment.

Step 7: Getting ready for beyond 30 days

Arbonne advises continuing to use Arbonne diet products and other supplements after the 30-day program. Further, it suggests working closely with the assigned consultant for the best results.

The core products for the 30-day program include:

  1. GutHealth Gut & Microbiome Support
  2. CleanTox Herbal Detox Tea
  3. FeelFit Pea Protein Shake
  4. EnergyFizz Ginseng Fizz Sticks

Other supplements that Arbonne manufactures:

  • SuperBoost Antioxidant Shot: Claimed to boost energy and support everyday health.
  • BeWell Daily Multivitamin & Mineral: It contains 22 vitamins and minerals, and nutrients from whole food sources.
  • BeWell Vegan Omega 3: This contains omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids support cognitive health, brain function, and eye health.
  • InnerCalm Adaptogenic De-Stress Powder: This powder contains Ashwagandha and saffron, which is said to help in achieving a meditative state of mind.
  • TrueSport: This product is claimed to help in providing the required electrolytes and also helps in post-recovery.
  • SkinElixir Collagen Builder: This promotes the growth of collagen for healthy-looking skin, hair, and nails.
  • MindHealth Focus Super Powder: Supports neurological performance, including focusing.
  • FeelFit Appetite Control: This helps in controlling the appetite. This could have side effects since it is a very unnatural process to control appetite.
  • FeelFit Metabolism Support: This product supports metabolism and thermogenesis.
  • FeelFit Chews: Claims to control the appetite while keeping the energy levels high.
  • FeelFit Pea Protein Snack Bars: Contains protein from Peas, Rice and Seeds. The description misses out on the importance of consuming the bar.

Plus points of the Arbonne Diet plan

  1. It concentrates on overall well being. It actively talks about having proper meals, doing some physical exercise, and meditating daily. All these practices do help in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
  2. Arbonne talks about mindful eating, focusing more on nutrient quality rather than counting calories. Most supplements are high in protein and fiber, which can help in controlling hunger and keeps one full for longer periods.
  3. The diet program encourages having whole, unprocessed food. Taking minimal to no processed food helps our digestive system to digest it easily. Though, the encouragement of taking supplements contradicts Arbonne’s unprocessed approach.

Downsides of Arbonne’s diet

  1. It keeps unnecessary restrictions, which do not have any scientific reasons. It suggests complete avoidance of alcohol, dairy, coffee. Researchers found that coffee helps in losing weight, lowering the risk of type 2 diabetes, etc. Even consuming alcohol in limited amounts has many health benefits.
  2. All the products are expensive. The products with the discount are also quite expensive. This program’s cost makes it inaccessible for people with lower income.
  3. Not all consultants are trained to give medical advice. Independent consultants need not have any formal education in nutrition or health. They must have crossed the age of 18 years.
