1. Besan and Curd Face Pack

  • Two tablespoons Besan
  • One tablespoon Curd

 How to use  

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl to form a thick paste.

2. Multani Mitti and Lemon Face Pack

9. Cornstarch and Apple Cider Vinegar Face Pack

  • One tablespoon Cornstarch
  • One tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar

  • Mix the two ingredients and form a paste.
  • Apply on the face and skin and leave for 10 mins and then wash off.

10. Lemon and Turmeric Face Pack

Lemon removes excess oil from skin and turmeric has incredible healing properties. This pack can be used once a week and leave a beautiful glow to the surface.  


  • Two tablespoons Gram Flour
  • ½ tablespoon Turmeric
  • ½ Lemon Juice
  • ¼ cup of milk

How To Use  

  • Mix all ingredients to form a runny paste
  • Spread it evenly on the face and leave for 20 minutes and then wash off.

Homemade Products For Oily Skin

In addition to the homemade packs for oily skin, you can also try using homemade and natural products for oily skin to manage oily skin. There are many cleansers, toners and moisturizers which one can make at home. These products are more natural to make and can treat oily skin effectively.  

1. Homemade Cleanser 

Cleansers bind to the impurities in the skin and help in removing dirt and oil from the face. You can create the cleaner products for oily skin in the following way: 

  • Mix 1/4 liquid organic soap, brewed and cooled chamomile tea, 3/4 teaspoon of olive oil, eight drops of essential oil (lavender or peppermint), and few drops of vitamin E. Store this mixture in a bottle and use it regularly for effective results.

2. Homemade Toner

Make a toner using peppermint, sage, or yarrow. Put a tablespoon of any one of the mentioned herbs in a cup, then fill it to the brim with boiling water. Leave the mixture for 30 minutes, strain it and then let it cool. You can regularly dab the mixture on the face as a toner. The combination can be used for up to 5 days if it is stored in a refrigerator.

Make a toner from green tea and aloe. You would need two tea bags of green tea, one tablespoon of aloe vera gel and I cup of hot water. Steep the green tea bags in the cup of boiling water for 5 minutes and then let it cool. After that, remove the tea bags and add the aloe vera gel to the tea. Stir thoroughly and pour the mixture in a glass jar or spray bottle. Dab the toner regularly on recently washed face and skin with a cotton pad. 

3. Homemade Scrub 

Baking soda and Coconut Oil scrub


  • ½ cup of organic coconut oil (melted or very soft)
  • ¼ cup of baking soda.

How to make

Mix the ingredients until they form a frosting-like consistency. Store the mixture in room temperature in a jar with a tightly fitted lid. Use a tablespoon of the mix as a scrub regularly on the face and rinse off with warm water.

  • ½ a lemon (juice)
  • ½ cup of granulated sugar
  • A tablespoon of olive oil
  • A tablespoon of honey.

How to make

Mix the lemon juice and olive oil. Add the honey and whisk the mixture until it forms a medium-to-thick consistency, and then add sugar to it. Use it regularly.  

4. Moisturizer 

Mix ½ cup of coconut oil, one teaspoon of liquid vitamin E, and 5-7 drops of lavender essential oil together. Store in a jar and use it on the face twice daily for best results.  

Jojoba to the homemade moisturizer. You can use jojoba oils after washing the face. Rub drops of jojoba on the palms and apply it evenly on the face. You can also mix jojoba oil with other essential oils to make a moisturizer and best products for oily skin in India.
