1. Oats:

Usage: Take uncooked oats and mix the same into lukewarm water. Now leave the paste to cool down its temperature. Now put the mixture on your face and rub it on the scarred region. Leave it the same way for 10 minutes. Now wash it with warm water. 

2. Baking Soda:

Generally used for baking purpose, but baking soda is useful for treating skin as well. It helps to make the skin itch free and inflammation free. It is also helpful in the maintenance of acidity basicity of the skin. 


Usage: Take two tablespoons of baking soda and mix it well with 1 cup water. Mix it till it forms a paste like solution. Now apply that solution to the affected region. After some minutes, wash it off with water. 

3. Coconut water:

Coconut water is in general a very healthy choice for body. But apart from that, it can be put to good use as a home remedy to get rid of pox marks. It is because it comprises of vitamins and minerals which assist in keeping the skin healthy. 


Usage: Put up some coconut water on your pox scarred region. If that causes you irritation, then you can also mix some coconut water in your bathing water. Also, while you are suffering from chickenpox, never forget drinking a glass of coconut water daily, since it helps to heal the skin at a faster pace from within. 

4. Honey:

Having been extracted from the beehive, it is without any doubt one of the richest and potent things available to humans. It is also extremely helpful in getting rid of pox scars. Honey is said to possess natural skin moisturizer that helps on skin rejuvenation at a faster pace. It, therefore, helps in drawing out the scars and bringing out the healthy cells to the surface. 


Usage: Take honey and oats and mix them well together. Place honey and oats paste on the pox marks area and rub the paste on the same for around 5 minutes. Now, leave it to soak for around half an hour. Finally, rinse it with water. 

5. Papaya:

Papaya is a well-known fruit in the health realm for its properties relating to digestion. But keeping that aside, it also possesses some properties which help in the pox scar removal. Papaya is really helpful in skin hydration thereby taking out the dead skin cells caused by pox. 


Usage: Take some fresh papaya, brown sugar and milk. Now blend all three ingredients together. Further, take the mixture and apply it on your face. Let a few minutes pass by, and then wash the mixture with mild soap and water.
