Health is prior to each one of us. Agree? Then answer this simple question. Does your knee ache, or your elbows? If yes, are you investigating the cause of such discomfort? We hear people retaliate, what is there to worry so much, it is just a trivial pain.

Hearing this we hanker how is health a priority to them? Gosh!!! People contradict a lot with what they say. This blog is focused on arthritis pain which most people unknowingly categorise as trivial.

To be specific joint pains are known as arthralgia.

Causes of arthritis 

There is not a single cause to all the varying types of arthritis. Depending upon the type of arthritis pain a person is suffering from will determine the cause of such disorders. To sum up, the most common causes of arthritis, chronic disorder, are 

  • Any injury that leads to degenerative arthritis
  • Distorted metabolism of a person, leading to gout or pseudogout
  • Inheritance, much in the care of osteoarthritis
  • Infections, such as in the arthritis of Lyme disease.
  • Immune system dysfunction, such as in RA and SLE

These are some of the general causes of arthritis pain, whereas a person might also suffer from arthritis not because of the above factors, but because of many other factors that combine to form arthritis. For most of the people, lack of physical activity may trigger arthritis. Some may have to suffer because of inheriting this disorder from their parents. The diet of a person also plays a role in causing such trouble. 

For example, gout is a valid type of arthritis that is linked to a person’s everyday meal.

The symptoms that indicate arthritis and the way they appear vary directly to the type of arthritis a person is going to suffer from. A person can develop it gradually or just over a night. Symptoms of this chronic disease may come and go or may persist over time.

Pain

You may have constant or fluctuating pain, ie. you may feel achy at a moment whereas fine the other moment. Your whole body parts might ache or just a single joint. If you are suffering from any such discomforts then it is time for you to have a quick checkup.

Swelling

Many a time, the portion over arthritis affected bone becomes red and it swells. On touching you will feel the portion to be warmer than the other areas.

Difficulty moving a joint

When moving your joint if you feel trouble and it aches then you need to stay careful. If it is arthritis or another kind of joint disorder then you will not be able to move your joint bones freely because your joint will ache.

Stiffness

If you suffer from moving from your position in the morning or standing up from a chair, or after sitting in a car for a longer span of time then you are suffering from stiffness. Some may even get stiff after exercising. This stiffness is a typical symptom of arthritis.

The ultimate focus of treating arthritis is to reduce the pain that you suffer, the chances of damage to the joints, and to maintain a healthy life. 

Some of the ways that will help you fight arthritis pain are

The first and foremost of any treatment starts with medical interventions. If you know you are a patient of arthritis then you must consult a doctor and follow the prescription that your doctor provides you. Make sure you take the dosage as prescribed.

Along with the medical approach, we as humans are habituated of experimenting with natural remedies. The natural remedies to treat arthritis pain are-

Diet

There is no specific food that will completely eliminate arthritis from your body, but certainly, there are foods that will help reduce the inflammation. There are food items that are known to help maintain healthy bones and joints, such as fish, nuts, seeds, fruits, veggies, olive oil, etc. include these items in your meal. Whereas, there are certain other food items that you should strictly avoid, such as tomatoes, and other nightshade vegetables.

Physical activities

Even if you suffer from moving your body here to there, it is widely recommended to continue with good physical activity. A lot of arthritis patients suffer from other issues such as heart diseases. Hence you should practice an activity that is both ways beneficial. Walking, swimming, and cycling are some of the activities that you can concentrate on.
